Design
Our designer will meet with you to discuss your VA landscaping, such as likes, dislikes, color choices, and plant selection. The areas to be landscaped will be measured and photographed.
Using landscape design software and the photos we take, “before” and “after” images will be prepared that show the selected plants and other elements incorporated into the design. The renderings show color and size representative of the maturity of the plants.
Sketches and drawings of the design also can be made. This is especially helpful during the design consultation and in cases where the property is overgrown.
Installation
HD's landscape staff will provide all materials required for the installation: plants, soil, mulch, plant mix products, and other materials such as stepping stones or pavers. HD's also will perform and supervise all the labor necessary to install the project.

“Do-It-Yourself” Landscape Plans
Maybe design isn’t your forte, but you'd like to install your landscape yourself. For a nominal fee, our designer will prepare a detailed landscape plan along with a plant and materials “shopping list." This makes completing your VA landscaping quick and easy!
